Ever since gaining promotion to the Premier League Pompey have struggled to stay up. Just in the nick of time Alexnadre Gaydamak became the owner of the club, injecting 15 million pounds to save Pompey from relegation. This signalled a new direction for the South-coast club, who enjoyed a comfortable mid-table season, finishing 9
th. 2007/08 will see Pompey pushing for a place in Europe, but it all depends on the new faces Radknapp will be able to bring in. Peter Crouch was the first significant signing, but more will have to follow if Pompey wish to push forward.
Bottom Line: Radknapp is having the time of his life.
