Well first of all, let me welcome you. A lot of time, effort, and money have been
invested into BetUknow in order to make this the place to be for all of us sports
bettors. We hope you will find that BetUknow is a good place to show and share your
knowledge of English and European Football.
It seems that last summer was longer than usual, especially for us football fans.
After the 2006 World Cup, the summer of 2007 was deadly, dull, and boring, with
no major events (beside some drug-infested-cycling tournament and the annual mice
race in Trinidad).
Indeed, there are people who thank their God for this break. Rumours tell of thousands
of ecstatic wives, who finally had some quality time with their husbands. One can
only guess whether the husbands enjoyed that “quality time” as much (and this “one”
knows the truth, but he’s afraid the wife might be reading this...)
From this air-conditioned office we cry for the help: Give us something to do in
the summer time! Lucky for us, Euro 2008 will take place a next year, so the summer
of 2008 will be action packed, but what about 2009? Or 2029? Haven’t we suffered
enough?!
We hope you will use the platform BetUknow offers you, so until the football free
summer of 2009, our match commenting, post-match "I-told-you-so" boast, contests,
and other community tools will be the getaway you, we, are all looking for.
Obviously, we will need your help with this. Besides being active in the site, we
urge you to share any ideas, comments or complaints you have regarding BetUknow,
with us. This will help us not only improve the site, but to build it around your
needs too. Just send whatever comes to mind to

on why Premiership managers are fired quite so frequently, England’s woeful Euro
2008 campaign, and of course – any evidence for the real reason why your team won't
